Encanto Book Tag - Recommendations Based on Songs
Hey fellow book lovers! I’ve been watching the new Encanto movie on repeat ever since it’s been on Disney+ and now have the songs stuck in my head all the time. I thought it would be fun to do a Encanto- themed Book Tag. I went looking for book tags and found a Encanto book tag created by Anshula of Passport to Eden. Go check out the original creator!
Name a book that explores multiple family generations
What is a book you enjoyed that took longer than expected to finish?
I enjoyed The Night Circus but it took me longer to get into the story at first. Mostly due to the pacing being slow at the beginning and my short attention span.
Name a character who has to do it all
*Warning: Spoilers!*
Linh Cinder from The Lunar Chronicles defiantly had a lot on her shoulders. She had the responsibility of leading an uprising on Luna and keeping the peace between humans and lunars. The fates of everyone depended on her which is such a huge responsibility and I know I couldn’t handle that kind of pressure.
Talk about a book you haven’t talked about
This is one of the few books that I’ve enjoyed that I haven’t talked about yet. And since this book has themes of family like Encanto, I think this is a good book to talk about. Far Free The Tree follows the story of three teens that have either been adopted or put in foster care. When one of the three wants to know more about her birth mother, she learns that she has two biological siblings. The story is about the three of them meeting, getting to know one another, and learning more about their birth mother together.
Name a book that you thought would be light and fluffy but hit emotionally
Characters who make you believe in soulmates
Juliette and Roma from These Violent Delights and Our Violent Ends are the closest thing to the idea of soulmates I’ve ever read! I ship them so hard!
Name a book that features rebuilding relationships
