After re-watching Hamilton on Disney+ 100 times and having all the songs stuck in my head all the time, I thought it would be fun to do the good ole Hamilton book tag! I did each question in song order because I wanted to change things up. Hope you enjoy it!

A character that goes after what they want and doesn’t let anything stop them…

Pretty much every YA protagonist to be honest so it’s hard to choose just one. So I’m going to choose a classic instead, Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice because who cannot “admire and love” this “obstinate headstrong girl”.

An underrated female character…

I think that Winter from the Lunar Chronicles is a bit underrated because we spend the least amount of time with her than the other main characters. But I think she’s one of the bravest of all the characters and should get more love!

Sassiest villain…

I can’t think of a book villain but Hades from Hercules is one of the sassiest Disney villains. His character is based on mythology so it counts as a book character, right?

Favorite BROtp…

Cinder and Thorne from TLC are definitely one of my favorite book friendships ever!

A relationship you rooted for from the start…

I ship so many characters so this question was harder than I thought it would be. But one that I rooted for from the first scene of them together was Maxon and America from The Selection. Any scene with them together was full of fluff and I loved shipping them.

Favorite book with multiple POVs…

I honestly haven’t read many books with multiple POVs and the ones I have read have mostly just been romance. The one I enjoyed the most recently was 100 Days of Sunlight because I think both of the character voices were written beautifully.

A book that was worth waiting for…

This was a hard one to answer because I tend to usually wait till a series is finished before reading it. So I never really experienced the whole waiting for each book to be released thing that many other book lovers experience.

But I experience that feeling when reading each episode of webcomics on Webtoon! One of my favorites is Lore Olympus by Rachel Smythe and the wait for season two this summer was definitely worth it!

A character you wish was still alive… (Spoilers)

Defiantly Theodore Finch because I still am grieving over him. At times, I really wished I could have jumped into the book and saved him.

A Series you wish had more books…

Pretty much every Jane Austen novel since I’ve always wanted to know what happens to all the couples after they’re married.

A series you marathoned…

The last series I marathoned and finished was The Lunar Chronicles.

A book or series you were late to…

The Hunger Games was a series I put off getting into until after it was super popular and all the movies were out. But the story is very good so I’m glad I finally got into it.

A Guilty Pleasure Read…

This may be cheating (no pun intended) but my guilty pleasure read is cheesy fan-fiction.

A book world you would put yourself in…

This is such a hard question for me because I care more about the characters in the world than the actual world itself. So my answer is based on which characters I want to spend time with most of which are in the world of Anne of Green Gables.

The most heartbreaking end to a relationship… (Spoilers)

The most recent heartbreaking love story I’ve read was Will and Stella from Five Feet Apart

So this has been my take on the Hamilton Book Tag. If you are here, then I’m tagging you as well! What is your favorite Hamilton song? Hope you enjoyed it!

    1. It really was! It’s such a good book and has a special place in my heart, but it’s a hard re-read since it’s so heartbreaking!
